Some words I put together

Starting today-
I’ve made a resolution.

No more wasted minutes
No more altered words
No more mistaken perceptions
Just our hearts’ desires
Pure and clean
No doubting allowed in.

Don’t you see
I want it all
And I have a hunch, my friend, that you do too.
You want to live the life you love
And have it love you.

Grab your hat but forget your coat
Wear your slippers
And untie your shoes
Loose your drawstrings
Because it’s time to get down
We’ll sing some blues
but lose the frown.

No doubt
Or confusion
No hunger
or blight.
And no fear
of fading eye sight.

This place has been being kept safe
By the little children within.
They’ve kept the key safe
for all of these years
Safe in that box on the highest shelf
Of your distant memories.
And they're waiting on your command.

So give in!
Say yes to life
Say yes to love
Say yes to the music that’s been haunting you
and to the beat that's been living all caged up inside.

What are you waiting for?
The coffee to roast?
The bills to come?
The job to be done?
The war to be won?
The day to be done?

Well… make THEM wait on you this time!
It’s your day!

It’s got you in its sights
And, I’m a telling you, it won’t be quelled
Or quashed or put to bed.
It won’t listen to your sorry excuses
Anymore.

Being happy’s not a sin
And it’s not illegal to feel.
And no one will die if you just up and let out a squeal.

Take some risks
The Outcome should now become Irrelevant.

Just live your life for the love of God.
He’s sick of you wasting all that he’s given you.
And he’s tired of waiting on you.
To do what you were born to do.

Say yes to what’s just around the corner.
It’s been waiting On You
To reclaim the day.
To again see the magic in every second
Of every minute
Of every hour
Of every day.
