I HIGHLY recommend Band of Horses. They are incredible. I'd love to see Neko Case - she's awesome. Hot Chip, of course. Vampire Weekend, of course. CSS puts on one hell of a live show (her costume is great). Fleet Foxes and Yeasayer are great to listen to high. The Kills rock. The Fratellis suck live, heads up. Some people at Monolith were talking about how good White Denim was, but we missed that show.
But if there is ONE BAND that I would recommend over any other for sheer entertainment value, it's Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. Excellent dancefest jazz music and Sharon has an incredible voice and she's so awesome. She dances all over the place and gets the audience totally involved and even gets people up on stage to dance with her. One of the most fun performances I've ever seen.
