It's interesting to ponder the current heading of the youth of this nation. As the John Mayer song goes
"We keep on waiting waiting on the world to change
One day our generation
Is gonna rule the population"
But I look around and I see many lost lost, ambivalent people. I say this because our generation and society is in a great flux. Due in large part to the approaching federal legalization/decriminalization of marijuana. I have the feeling that with this new legislation our nation will see a great upheaval and a move toward a much less capitalistic environment.
It's exciting to think of the potential for new tax raising revenues, expanded consciousnesses and less honest and law-abiding citizens serving jail time or paying hefty fines.
One day, we'll rule the population. Until then, lets stay aware with an eye toward a better future. Keep on waiting.
